Perbandingan Seakeeping Sebelum dan Sesudah Modifikasi Bentuk Lambung (Studi Kasus. KM Proff Jigging)

Proff Jigging merupakan sebuah kapal penumpang yang dimodifikasi panjang dan bentuk lambungnya. Tujuan modifikasi ini  adalah mengubah fungsi dari kapal penumpang menjadi kapal kargo. Evaluasi dilakukan untuk mengetahui kondisi olah gerak sebelum dan sesudah dimodifikasi menggunakan program simulasi maxsurf, sehingga dengan mengetahui nilai pergerakan kapal dapat diketahui kondisi kapal jika mengalami gangguan akibat gelombang. Hasil evaluasi Sebelum dimodifikasi pada 0 knot kapal memiliki nilai amplitudo yang lebih besar pada gerakan roll RAO dengan nilai amplitudo sebesar 6.654 deg dan pitch RAO sebesar 2.013 deg. Setelah dilakukan modifikasi kapal memiliki nilai amplitudo terbesar pada pergerakan RAO heave dengan nilai amplitudo 1,206 m. Kemudian setelah dimodifikasi pada kecepatan 20 knot, kapal memiliki nilai amplitudo terbesar pada pergerakan RAO heave dengan nilai 2.058 m, RAO roll sebesar 6.684 deg dan pitch RAO sebesar 1.884 deg. Secara keseluruhan, hasil evaluasi setelah dimodifikasi memiliki kinerja pergerakan yang lebih baik dibandingkan dengan model sebelum modifikasi sebesar 6,8%.

 

ABSTRACT

Prof Jigging is a passenger ship that has been modified in length and shape of the hull. The purpose of this modification is to change the function of a passenger ship into a cargo ship. The evaluation was carried out to determine the condition of the movement before and after being modified using the maxsurf simulation program, so that by knowing the value of the ship's movement, the condition of the ship can be known if it experiences disturbances due to waves. Evaluation results Before being modified at 0 knots the ship has a larger amplitude value in the RAO roll motion with an amplitude value of 6.654 deg and an RAO pitch of 2.013 deg. After modification, the ship has the largest amplitude value in the RAO heave movement with an amplitude value of 1,206 m. Then after being modified at a speed of 20 knots, the ship has the largest amplitude value in the RAO heave movement with a value of 2.058 m, RAO roll of 6.684 deg and RAO pitch of 1.884 deg. Overall, the evaluation results after being modified have a better movement performance compared to the model before the modification of 6.8%.
