BANTUAN ALAT PELINDUNG DIRI (APD) BAGI MASYARAKAT, TENAGA MEDIS DAN PELAKU UMKM DI BENGKALIS

Abstract

After the determination of the emergency status of the Corona Virus Disease 2019 (Covid-19) Non-Natural Disaster in Bengkalis Regency through a Circular Decree of the Bengkalis Regent Decree Number: 147 / KPTS / IV / 2020. The public is asked to be aware of the spread of Covid-19 and work together in preventing and breaking the spread of the Covid-19 chain so as not to do many activities outside the home and gather. However, the need to carry out activities outside the home for the community and carry out buying and selling activities for MSME players as one of the economic drivers and the limitations of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) on the market for medical personnel in carrying out health service activities for the community encourage this community service activity to be carried out. . Expensive and scarce PPE such as masks, gloves, face mask shields made the community service team try to produce PPE by themselves in accordance with the provisions and standards for preventing Covid-19. This community service activity is targeted at 3 groups, the community, MSME actors, and medical personnel. The PPE provided included a 3-layer cloth mask, cloth and mica mask, and a face shield. This community service activity has succeeded in distributing 1,480 PPE to the community, MSME players and medical personnel. This activity received a good response from partners and the local government and was successfully published in 7 online mass media.
